Additional information Polls and Voting was developed to replace the slow process of using paper based systems for voting. This application allows an administrator to create a new poll and assign any staff member as the poll manager. The administrator or poll manager can then add their questions and responses for that poll. Responses to a question can be multiple choice or a text field to allow an individual response from each participant. A poll can consist of a combination of different question types, with some being a multiple choice response and others a text field response. Once voting has commenced, the Poll Manager can view a list of users who have and have not voted, as well as graphical representations of results (for multiple choice questions). It is also possible to view the response of an individual participant. Polls can be scheduled or manually opened and closed, and configuration options allow you to choose if participants can view the results of the polls they can vote in. This system is great for situations such student council elections or the selection of a year 12 jersey design. |
